the manic focus and tunnel vision of the past month has culminated in this. the reality is setting in and, despite everything working out quite seamlessly thus far, I cannot help but feel that I just made a colossal fucking mistake. this feeling has been more pronounced over the past day or two... but life is good, people are kind, the tap water here tastes delicious, and I don't have to pay fucking sales tax. oh, and I have an awesome place to live and a new job, and my cat is currently resting her paw on my foot. and it's LIGHT. so it's just going to get better...
I will be taking more photos very soon, now that I've settled in a bit. you know what Anchorage lacks, among other things? TAGS. there are huge swaths of unsullied beige walls and no graffiti anywhere!
